The Evaluation on Clinical Applicability and Validation for Eye Tracking-linkaged Attention Training System
Kim Young-Geun

Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical applicability and its validation for eye tracking-linkaged attention training system(EYAS).

Methods: For this purpose, usability testing and quality certification for its system were progressed. Usability testing was practiced two-track way. One way was that 16 experts on cognitive rehabilitation evaluated the usability of EYAS after using it directly. Other way was that 4 clinical exerts tested the usability of it after applying it to patients with cognitive disability on clinical field. The usability testing tool applied was what researcher developed in person for this study. The quality certification was obtained at the public organization for good measure.

Result: The results were as follows. 16 experts group showed ¡®excellent¡¯ as 6 points(maximum points 7) for EYAS. Especially, this system was appropriate system for training attention ability. The most points item are that this system consists of various sensory attention training systems(visual and auditory). All items of usability testing tool also were evaluated as ¡®excellent¡¯ after applied this to 4 clinical organization. Additionally, GS certification was obtained on the public software qualification organization.

Conclusion: The results suggest that eye tracking-linkaged attention training system is a valid training system for visual and auditory attention training. This system have clinical applicability for persons with cognitive disability and attention deficits.
